Paying Attention to You

How do you pay attention to yourself and not be selfish?

This is a struggle for many of us who have nurturing hearts or who serve others in life through work, family and
relationships.

To begin, taking care of yourself first is the foremost important thing one can do for themselves.

If you spend your energy taking care of everyone but yourself, you will find that you will be exhausted and confused.

There is a fine line on being selfish negatively or being selfish and taking a positive approach.

Being selfish negatively would entail hurting others Intentionally by immature behavior and failure to recognize that your actions
are creating pain for others.

Being selfish in a good way would involve taking care of one's physical and emotional well being.

If you are feeling drained emotionally or physically, take a look at where this is coming from.

One must pause first before moving into serving others and being driven by their strong heart.

Pausing allows for introspection of self.

It is ok to give yourself love and attention.

If you don't, you may never receive what it is that you require.

Only you know what that is!

When one lives their life in an oblivion state of numbness because they didn't take a look at themselves and their requirements,
pain will result not only for the person who denied themselves but also for all those who they have made emotional connections with.

The natural response will be defensiveness, blame, denial, spite and resentment.

One will live their lives Expecting everyone to cater to their needs because that will become their reality due to lack of love
for self.

Now, you must ask yourself this question.

Do I want to live a life of hurting others and myself or do I choose to engage in life and experience all that I came here for?

I would surmise that everyone reading this would choose the latter.

Taking the necessary steps to find You and fill yourself up with Love will be the greatest gift you can give yourself and to
others.

Living your life wholly will always result in happiness within your core self.

Nothing or no one can disrupt this core happiness because you have taken responsibility for Yourself.

Taking responsibility for who you are in how you react, think, feel and choose will be the reality of the creation of your existence.

Live life without regrets.

Choose wisely and pay attention to all that you are receiving as inner guidance.

Don't ignore the messages that you feel because if you do, the lesson will come around again and hit you harder.

The more you deny yourself your truth, the more difficult the lesson.

Life is a brief moment to be cherished and experienced to obtain the wisdom to know what your soul's requirements entail.

Live with Love in your Heart for yourself.
