Faith

Faith is trusting that no matter how difficult a situation is a Love is being sent from God to assist our pain and confusion.

It is hard to keep the faith when your mind interrupts the Truth of God!

I have a story to share about faith and how God sends help to comfort us when we have doubt.

About 7 years ago, my youngest daughter was moving out of the house to another state, Florida.

Of course my mind began to race and worry about all the things that could happen to her on route by car to Florida.

This was the moment where I had to find a way to let her go and give her the wings to fly her own soul's journey.

I was having much difficulty finding trust and faith that she would be taken care by her angels.

I mean, I was the one who took care of her for 19 years, who could have done it better than me?

This was a test of my faith.

To TRUST that God will take care of her while she is out of my care.

That day she was packing her car getting ready to leave, I went to work and had one patient in the early morning.

I walked into the patient's home and not more than a few minutes had passed when my patient got up, walked to her bedroom with her walker and came out with a picture.

She said to me, "  I never showed this picture to anyone except my brother, who at the time the picture was taken, was dying of cancer".

I thought to myself , "why, then, is she showing it to me"?

It was a picture of Jesus on the cross at a shrine.

My patient's brother went there for healing and decided to take a picture of Jesus on the cross.

When my patient showed me the picture, she asked me what I saw in it.

It was so clear!

Next to the statue of Jesus on the cross was the Spirit of Jesus!

I told her that Jesus was in the picture!

My patient was overjoyed.

She said she always saw Jesus but didn't think anyone would really believe her and somehow felt I would see it.

I was honored that she showed and shared it with me.

I asked her if she trusted me with the picture to take it home with me and make a copy for myself.

She said "yes".

I was extremely grateful for her graciousness!

When I got in the car to drive home, I turned the radio on.

The song playing on the radio was "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison.

I began to sob!

In that moment, I knew that my daughter was going to be fine on her new journey in life on her own.

Jesus had answered my prayers of protection and I was forever grateful for the messages he sent me that day.

Below is the picture of Jesus from my patient.

To the right of the statue of Jesus is Jesus's spirit which begins parallel to the waist of the statue of Him.
